Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I hope you all enjoyed the festive period wether it be with or without the family or friends, at home or somewhere exotic. Amanda and I went to the Nelson Lakes National Park for a 3-day hike, arriving at the tiny Speargrass hut on Christmas Eve to spend the last night crammed in with 7 trampers. Christmas brought rain, which didn’t help getting us into festive mood. Thus the day went by like any other, probably even less spectacular. At least we stayed dry at the Alpine Lodge.
